Air World Record

A team of Special Forces veterans, specialist skydiving instructors and people with disabilities are coming together across nationalities, religion, culture, colour and ability, to project the power of self-belief and collective effort to create a powerful perception of ability and freedom. To execute the Operation Blue Freedom – Air World Record.

Team CLAW invites people with disabilities (PWDs) from across the world to participate in the Operation Blue Freedom – Air World Record.

Operation Blue Freedom – Air World Record is the second in the series of the ‘Triple Elemental World Records’ launched by Team C.L.A.W under the ambit of Operation Blue Freedom. The Air World Record is for ‘the largest team of people with disabilities to skydive independently’ from an altitude of 13,000 feet.

Kumar Post (Siachen Glacier)

History was created on 11 September 2021 when 08 People with Disabilities reached Kumar Post on Siachen Glacier at an altitude of 15,632 feet. The team of 08 People with Disabilities was trained and led by Team CLAW, a team of Special Forces Veterans from Indian Armed Forces.

The team ascended 4,000 ft, gradually, while scaling the Glacier. The route involved crossing several deep crevasses, icy glacial water streams, hard-ice stretches and undulating rocky moraines. This not just tested the physical endurance and mental stamina, but also the ice-craft skills of the participants, like – use of ice axe, crampons, ladder crossing and rope skills.
