The expedition team completes the stage 1 of acclimatization and training at Leh. The participants with disabilities we’re trained by Team C.L.A.W in a manner befitting the Indian Special Forces.

The participants with disabilities showed phenomenal character is acclimatising well. Several of them are visiting such altitudes (about 11k ft) for the first time. Overcoming mountain sickness, rarefied atmosphere and reduced oxygen levels, the entire team of people with disabilities made it to the stage 2 of acclimatization and training, scheduled to happen at Siachen Base Camp.

The expedition team halts briefly at Hunder (in Nubra Valley) tonight for Medicals at the Military Hospital here, before heading to Siachen Base Camp for Stage 2 training and acclimatization tomorrow.
